New venue tonight, the lovely Cinnamon Rooms in Altrincham... well Bowden technically, but we won’t be too picky. We’re here to see The Lottery Winners in a very intimate setting, as they play some smaller venues in support of their album release. When you see a band like this, like this, I’m reminded just how beautiful live music is and how special it is to find a band like Lottery Winners that can play this well. It’s a conversational set, when is is not with Tom on stage. They weave through songs from their debut as well as gorgeous covers that sees the lead vocal being swapped effortlessly. It’s everything a gig should be, fun, joyous, unpredictable and unique. The songs are slices of pure indie pop perfection, played by genuinely delightful people. Buy the album, for God’s sake catch them live, embrace The Lottery Winners they are just what we need right now ❤️
