Aphex Twin, Printworks London. 15th September 2019

So is a 400 mile round trip to London to see Aphex Twin worth it? Hell YES!! I’ve no words. Brain utterly melted. Mr James is one of those artists I thought I’d never see, such is the illusiveness of the cheeky monkey, but tonight saw a big tick on the bucket list as The Printworks’ industrial walls shook violently, the lightning bludgeoned eyeballs and the sound system begged for its life. The venue was pretty damn cool, a dark cavernous hall, like some kind of post apocalyptic church. 2 hours of brutal electronica and my head is battered! Okay, now I just need to get back home and where is that again?
